A few days ago the black truffle was the protagonist of the famous cooking show of TVE, MasterChef Spain; Eva González, host of the program, described it as “one of the delicacies of world cuisine”, and this conclusion also reached contestants after handling and cooking with it.

Subsequently contestant developed several recipes with truffles as protagonist: first ball soup pork jowls with truffle and crispy pork bacon with chickpeas and truffle cream; two seconds, trotters with turnips and truffles, plus pork ribs glazed with truffled potato parmentier; and two desserts, bread of truffled fig strudel apple crisp with chestnut cream and truffle.
